I’m not alone- Bersih 3.0 experience

I was there and now i was here :)

1 night before Bersih (27/12/2012)
Was receiving a message from Xiao Yu around 4pm, were asked to prepare early since Police start to block road to enter KL. Luckily was almost discussing to an end with my supervisor. She came to the college around 5 something and we rushes to KL afterwards.

2 person sure enough to share 1 clay pot...

We both are stop for while at somewhere near to Petaling Street to enjoy our last dinner, according to her at least we had a luxury dinner if we all are being caught in Bersih 2molo. My goodness this ordinary girl the way she speak sometimes makes me fainted. Honestly, i can feel her feeling that moment, she was scared and worries actually though she denied afterwards...

one day before that, its clearly the night before the storm coming...

I was received lot of messages that night. Obviously, was asked me to stay alert and careful, and maintain yourself in good condition also. Touching 100 times when getting that wishes from you all indeed. although some of you don't understand why i so insist to join this rally, but never mind slowly your would understand to my firm decision. And now i was back here again, so nothing much to worries.

Jian How was come over Kelana Jaya to join us that night after finished his own thingy. Yeah! Friend’s talk will initiate again within us. Maybe deeply in our heart, we might risk ourselves in this event and possible not to see each other. But there is no returning for the sake of our next generation. This country is still having hope and we shouldn't wave the white flag...

Actual day (28/4/2012)

Petaling Street that is not covered foreign workers but all yellow man

I was wake up the earlier among three of us. Don’t know why actually just feeling enthusiastic but a bit uneasy at the same time. Getting the message from Jee Ling, she asked to bring ear stopper, what is that?? Haha… never mind I getting your concern, thanks for this from my brother’s wife. Kelana Jaya was so quiet but i guess somewhere in KL now must be start crowded already.
i Admit this Jian How is a bit weird acting sometimes...
Sky getting darker once we was sitting.. maybe God crying because of our effort...

I believe in the causes that brought to this rally, but whether there’s a need for the rally or not, is for others’ to say… it is certainly not my fight for this pointless argument, as I have my own way to see Malaysia be where we want it to be. BUT I wasn’t about to count on the national main media nor other people’s tweets and sentiments social web status to tell me how the rally went. I wanted, with my and friend’s own eyes, to see what it is all about this Bersih 3.0. Then only we came out the conclusion regarding this rally.

So instead of going shopping and posting pointless status, why not going out to the street?
we present flower to the police, and they just smiling to us.. no one was expect they attack people afterwards..

So, around 1030am we stepped our foot into Pasar Seni instead of Masjid Jamek. Again, according to Xiao Yu there was numbers of stall will open to provide food still. But, indeed we were getting cheated again since we just saw numbers of stall and shop shut down. But, Jian How was so enthusiastic even he doesn’t know why he behaves so (another crazy friend). We walk through the Petaling Street and saw someone selling Bersih T-shirt and we immediately get 1 just for 15 bulks.

Actors from the movie (Ah Beng)... they motivate us to march ahead...

Knew who is her?? the actress that appear in numbers local movie (miao miao)...

Saw numbers of local actors and singer like those who presented at the movie (Ah Beng). Even singers also appear in the event, so what about the others? Sitting in room and mentally support? Never mind, nothing to say about it. U has your own rights. Police was stood by somewhere near Jalan Sultan, they are doing nothing and some of the protestant even sending them flower nicely including us. What they doing there? Shouldn’t they going to reducing the crime rate? I guess KL city will slowly become Gotham city…maybe needed someone to became our batman??
this slogan can use?? think it yourself...
u think when people comfort will say this kind of thingy??

I sincerely, as a citizen of Malaysia, really hope that the government, instead of being ignorant, would effectively join us to seek change. I humbly ask them to start serving the people instead of attempting to brainwash through the sweet promises. The people’s interest should come first, not their self-interest. It is time that corruption is addressed in the best possible manner, and stop wasting money on mega projects that will reducing our public fund and the financial stake as well. Said are easier than done and we was enough for this already. Don giving any empty promises to u anymore.

front parts was so peaceful among us, but after that was so crowded...
Please do not insult my intelligence; we have been at the Jalan Tun Perak at near full capacity to judge. It was indeed easily tens of thousands of supporters on that road, and we sitting under the sun for few times. Yes, as most would realize, the number could have been much, much more since there are another group of people will joining from different place afterwards. We chanting and shouting the slogan like "bersih, bersih.." and the most favorite would be "kuning, kuning, najib pening"...

well, obviously many Chinese was attend yesterday... who said we not concern to country??
Money wasnt everything especially you coudnt find any slot to feed your stomach...

There was one couple that we thought foreigner visitor earlier asked us which university we're from and where do we stay. But when we asking where they are from, they answered: Malaysia. Then we asked them you know the purposes for this? They said: not really but Malaysia seldom sees this kind rally thingy, so there must be a valid reason for it. Wow… such an understandable people man!!! And he said just came along to accompany his wife. Wow... So sweet you both haha… Friendly people are all around us and at that time, I truly felt the warmness of living in a multiracial country where people can put down their differences and walk together for a common thing they want to see. So who needed 1 Malaysia? Are u? This is time that we get unite as one, no slogan and no enforcement. everyone helping each other when tear gas is firing to us...

why we moved into the street?? mainly because we coudnt stand to see your behavior...
really people mountain people sea..
The mainstream newspapers obviously were inconsistent in their reporting in terms of what happened. The police were able to control the situation just simply because the protest was peaceful; until they started firing.Everything became the other ways it suppose not to happen. Police from PDRM suppose to protect people but all we saw is totally in different ways. Police attack people that violated the people confidence to PDRM. Police is no longer to catching thief but does so into the people who is innocent at this event.

Menara Maybank...

To conclude, we was went there Bersih 3.0 and we are here in home/college respectively although there is an mass mouse and cat catching games within us and police. My life was so colorful and slowly saw the rainbow out from myself. See the news with your own analytical and used your heart to differentiate within right and wrong. i was certainly in happy and sad mode apparently since a lot of similar age to us was out to support this event, sad is basically because of the way PDRM police did into the citizen.
Video above is shooting by me when we was in Jalan Sultan. they singing rasa sayang (edited version) and chanting bersih after the song... its basically consists of the people who stay in Jalan Sultan.
